ABOUT ME ABOUT ROLFING®
Raised in Kenai, Alaska, I came to Rolfing® in 2003 because of chronic back pain and headaches. At the time, I had tried various other routes to relief including massage, chiropractic and constant Ibuprofen. However, my first Rolfer™ did no work on my back; in fact, the first 2 sessions were spent on my arms, pectoral muscles, neck, feet and legs. It was confusing and yet liberating--the experience of being able to breathe deeply for the first time in my life was so exciting that I decided to learn more. Completing the Rolfing ten series eventually helped my back pain and headaches to dissipate, and facilitated better posture, breathing, self-awareness and freedom of movement. Six years later, I became a Certified Rolfer with the goal of sharing this excitement and bodily awareness with others. As my client, my greatest goals for you are freedom of movement, freedom from pain, and a sense of being at home in your body.
